Tuesday 1st March - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night across both divisions as scheduled and some competitive matches played.

All Star Rejects got back on form this week, putting two consecutive defeats behind them to thrash Murder on Zidane's Floor 8-2 and keep their three point lead at the summit.  Nutty Marauders stay in second place and on the tails of the leaders, they were 4-2 winners over Gangs of Dwight Yorke, whilst Boi FC were comfortable 3-0 winners over Centurions to remain in third.  Crouch Potatoes climbed to fourth place with a comprehensive 8-1 win against Woo Town Wanderers, whilst Dynamo Kebab won the mid-table battle against Purge by 4 goals to 2.

The top two met in Division One and the result will suit leaders Bell FC who drew 1-1 with second placed NCO FC, keeping themselves three points ahead of the competition.  Scranny Bao put themselves level with second as they beat new boys Scimitar Sports 4-1 in a good performance.  RB Old Boys remain fourth and bounced back from defeat last week to beat Pique Blinders comfortably by 4 goals to nil.  There were also big wins for Norfolk N Chance who beat Warndon Heath 9-0 and Green Army who ran out 7-2 winners over Battenhall.

We are extending this league as of Tuesday 8th March and welcome new teams Haywood Jablowme and Zoumas Kitkats to the new third division!  We have just two team spaces available at present so join now and be a part of the action!  We are offering FREE ENTRY WORTH £25 to the next team who joins!  We will call you upon completion of the application form to confirm receipt of your entry!
