Tuesday 21st February - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across the divisions, the only exceptions being Joel Touchmatip and Prawn Hub who both cancelled but return on Tuesday 28th February.

The Premier Division title race is going to the final week of the season!  Allstar Rejects are handily placed thanks to their superior goal difference but will need to ensure they win their final match as Dynamo Kebab are ready to pounce on any weakness!  Allstar were 3-0 winners over Murder on Zidane's Floor this week, whilst Dynamo Kebab were comfortable 4-0 winners against Nutty Marauders.  A 3-1 win for Purge wasn't enough to save them from the drop, they were however impressive winners against Green Army nevertheless.

Division One is also set for a title decider on the final game!  Sheffield Tuesday were 4-2 winners over Centurions to keep themselves top on goal difference, ahead of RB Old Boys who squeezed past Boi FC in a 3-2 thriller.  The two meet on the final week of the season in a game RB have to win to take the title, the two are already promoted though so it should promise to be a straight shootout!  Elsewhere Expected Toulouse claimed their third win in four since joining and look potential promotion candidates for next season, they were 5-2 winners over Tupsley FCC who will be playing Division Two football next time out!

Division Two leaders Warndon Heath had a lucky escape this week as they were beaten 2-0 by Chicken Tikka Mo Salah, however they stay in the lead as second placed Snorting Lisbon themselves suffered a 6-4 defeat to Gruppo Select!  All to play for in the final week of the campaign as the two fight it out for the title in their last matchups.  New boys Goals Aloud got off to a good start as they were 2-1 winners against fourth placed Busty Badgers, whilst the action was completed by Inter Ya Nan who won a seven goal thriller 4-3 against HIV Eindhoven.
