Tuesday 25th April - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

Welcome to the weekly round-up of the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league, where teams battle it out on the fantastic 3G pitch at Sixways Stadium, home of the Worcester Raiders. Despite a late cancellation from RB Old Boys, all the teams were in attendance to showcase their skills.

In the Premier Division, Dynamo Kebab had a convincing 4-1 win over Nutty Marauders, while All Star Rejects also triumphed with a 4-1 victory over Sheffield Tuesday. Green Army showed their prowess on the pitch with a 6-3 win over Haywood Jablowme.

In Division One, it was a close battle between Joel Touchmatip and Gruppo Select, with the latter team edging ahead with a 3-2 win. Snorting Lisbon secured a 5-2 win against BOI F.C., while Only Fools and Scousers suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat against Warndon Heath. In an incredibly tight game, Expected Toulouse lost out 1-0 to Purge F.C.

Over in Division Two, Goals Aloud were on the receiving end of a 6-2 defeat from BDS FC, while Chicken Tikka Mo Salah and HIV Eindhoven played out an entertaining 5-5 draw. Centurions FC and Inter Ya Nan couldn't be separated, with the game ending in a 2-2 stalemate. In a high-scoring affair, Busty Badgers edged past Teamblue FC (league debutants) with a narrow 6-5 victory.
