Tuesday 26th March - Worcester Round-Up

It was another fantastic night of football in the Worcester 7 a side league on Tuesday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night across all three divisions.

FC Timisoara top the Premier Division comfortably after they were 3-0 winners over Hakuna Juan Mata, only dropping a point at the halfway point of the campaign.  Woodgreen remain in second place with a 3-2 win over Wallop United, whilst Maradona Kebab won 4-0 against Crouching Woman, moving them into third position following BBC's 1-0 defeat to Gangs of Dwight Yorke.

Division One has a new leader as Droitwich Old Boys top the table for the first time this campaign, they were convincing 5-0 winners against Rybrook Beagles, whilst Purge were beaten 2-1 to Seagulls, dropping them to second and putting Seagulls level on points in third.  Bell FC remain in fourth spot after they defeat Poor Toe FC 2-0 and Nutty Marauders climbed out of the drop zone with a 3-1 victory over Droitwich Galacticos.

Murder on Zidane's Floor continue to lead the way in Division Two despite their 3-0 reverse at the hands of 1860 Worcester who move into second and just two points behind Murder with that result.  Startin S7 and Boi FC are also in the chasing pack and are also on nine points a piece.  S7 were made to work hard by bottom side Enville United but eventually triumphed by a single goal and Boi FC beat Sparks by the same scoreline, moving above them in the process.  Centurions put some considerable distance between them and the bottom two as they beat seventh placed Metre High 3-1.
