Tuesday 26th November - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 7 a side league at Sixways Stadium with all teams in attendance and some big results taking place throughout the night.

Its going down to the wire in the Premier Division as Droitwich Galacticos hold on to top spot with all their might, their 3-1 win coupled with Hakuna Juan Mata's 4-2 win means both remain locked on points and the same winning margins mean Droitwich are top by 1 goal!  Both have tricky fixtures to end the season with Droitwich facing a tough to beat Gangs of Dwight Yorke and Hakuna Juan Mata facing fourth placed Woodgreen.

The title is Poor-Toes in Division One as they put in a professional performance to beat rivals Murder On Zidane's Floor 3-1.  Both will be playing in the top division next season though.  Another game worth a mention was a typically end of the season match in which mid table Knotvery Athletic ran out 6-5 winners against Sparks FC.

It was business as usual for Startin S7 in Division Two as they show no signs of letting up despite promotion being confirmed weeks back, they thrashed Youlouse 8-0 as they look towards Division One football next season.  If there was any doubt on second place there isn't now after 1860 Worcester beat Boi FC to confirm promotion, third placed Centurions drew 1-1 with ABCDE FC.
