It was another good evening of 7 a side football in Worcester on Tuesday which saw all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled across all three divisions.
FC Timisoara suffered a rare defeat as they were beaten 1-0 at the hands of Hakuna Juan Mata who remain in fourth spot. It doesn't look as though that result will affect the league title though as another point would seal it for Timisoara. Maradona Kebab won by the same scoreline in their match with Crouching Woman to stay in second place. Woodgreen were 4-0 victors against Wallop and stay in third place whilst BBC and Gangs of Dwight Yorke played out a 1-1 draw.
In Division One, Droitwich Old Boys were held to a 2-2 draw by new team ABCDE FC but remain top of the table, their lead has been reduced to a single point though after Rybrook Seagulls won 3-1 against Purge FC. Bell FC are still very much in the hunt for promotion too, they sit level on points with second place as they ran out 5-0 winners against Poor Toe, a result which confirmed their relegation to Division Two. Droitwich Galacticos look as though they could be a force next season, as they drew 2-2 with Nutty Marauders, the latest in a line of impressive results since they joined.
Congratulations to Murder on Zidane's Floor who have all but sealed their promotion from Division Two with a 4-0 win against 1860 Worcester. Second place is currently occupied by Sparks FC who leapt above Boi FC with a 3-1 win over them this week, Boi drop to fourth but are still in the hunt for promotion. Startin S7 sit in third place after their 4-0 victory over Enville. Metre High completed the nights action in Division Two after they beat Centurions 4-2.
Good luck to all teams going into next weeks matches with Worcester's premier provider of small sided football.
