It was an excellent evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league overall this week, with all teams in attendance barring one, Alright Drive, who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return for the new campaign.
In the Premier League, Phez FC sealed their fate as the champions, ending the league with a commanding 20 points and 9 wins. Their stellar performance was highlighted in their definitive 4-0 victory against Centurions FC. Team Al-Mahartley also displayed resilience in their captivating 3-2 win over Dynamo Kebab. However, the night belonged to Boi F.C. who demolished Chicken Meow 8-1 in a one-sided contest.
Division 1 had its share of exhilarating moments with the Hawks soaring high as the division winners with a total of 21 points from 9 wins. Their dominance was evident in the 6-0 victory over Shed FC. The fiercest match saw LeaveMyArselona conquer Murderonzidanesfloor 4-2, while 6WC trumped over Joel Touchmatip with an emphatic 11-2 win.
The climax of the final week was in Division 2, where Lallana Rhodes emerged victorious, accumulating 23 points and 11 wins to top the league. Their closing match was a commendable 4-0 win against HAUS Every Weekday. The evening also saw a nail-biting contest between Net Six And Chill and RB Old Boys, which ended with a narrow 6-5 win for the Old Boys.
As we wrap up the season, congratulations to Phez FC, Hawks, and Lallana Rhodes for their triumphant campaigns in their respective divisions, trophies and medals will be awarded to these teams on the first week of the new campaign which gets underway on Tuesday 11th March.
