Tuesday 7th February - Worcester Round-Up

It was an excellent evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night, barring a late cancellation from Notinyourmoms Forest who return to action on Tuesday 14th February.

Allstar Rejects all but knocked Murder on Zidane's Floor out of the title race this week as they delivered a 10-2 thrashing to their opponents in a game that was billed as a far more close encounter than it turned out.  Dynamo Kebab did their bit to remain level with the leaders as they were 3-2 victors over Nutty Marauders, seeing off their title hunt this time round.  

Division One has a new leader this week as Sheffield Tuesday moved to the summit with a thrilling 6-4 win over Centurions, taking advantage of RB Old Boys 3-0 reverse to Boi FC.  New boys Expected Toulouse look a great addition to the league as their second win on the bounce since joining was a 3-2 win against Tupsley FCC, the action completed by Prawn Hub who again look decent since joining, their third win in four was a 3-1 victory against Asbo.

It couldn't be any tighter at the top in Division Two, as Snorting Lisbon dropped to second place despite a 2-1 win against 6White1Brown.  Warndon Heath moved above them by a single goal on goal difference after they were 4-0 victors against Chicken Tikka Mo Salah.  Elsewhere bottom team Inter Ya Nan got only their second win of the campaign as they beat HIV Eindhoven by 2 goals to nil.

We thank all teams for their continued reliability and commitment towards the league which ensures we run on time and smoothly throughout the night.  We look forward to seeing all teams in attendance for game week 12 with Worcester's premier small sided football provider.
