Tuesday 7th June - Worcester Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night.  We saw new team NotTooXavi join the action this week as a replacement for Bell FC, and they look to be a serious addition to the league if their first week is anything to go by!  They romped to an 11-1 victory over fourth placed Nutty Marauders to show they are a force to be reckoned with.

Purge FC remain top of the shop in the Premier Division as they cruised to a 7-2 victory over Scranny Bao, seeing them establish a 2 point lead as NCO FC who were second before the game were beaten 4-3 by Boi FC in an entertaining game.  All Star Rejects are back in second place as they capitalised on that result with a 9-1 thrashing of Crouch Potatoes.  Elsewhere Dynamo Kebab were 2-0 winners over strugglers Centurions FC as the bottom side are slowly getting cut adrift from safety.

Murder on Zidane's Floor were in eleventh heaven this week as their incredible season doesn't miss a beat, they were 4-1 winners over RB Old Boys to keep their perfect season going, they are now 6 points clear of the nearest competition as second placed Worcester Saints were shocked by Zouma's Kit Kats who thrashed them 7-1 to move into third place.  Green Army dropped to fourth as Zoumas overtook them following their 1-1 draw with Woo Town Wanderers.  Elsewhere new boys Asbo FC got their second win in a row, beating Battenhall Wanderers by a 6-2 scoreline, whilst Warndon Heath completed the action with a 3-2 win over Haywood Jablowme who they move within a point of.
