Tuesday 8th March - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their fixtures throughout the night as scheduled, including three new teams who got started with us!

In the Premier Division, All Star Rejects now look dead certs to take the title as they sit three points clear with only four to play for, they beat third placed Boi FC by a hefty 9-1 score line this week to end any faint title hopes Boi may have had.  

Nutty Marauders look to have secured the Runners-Up place too as they edged past Dynamo Kebab by 2 goals to 1, whilst fourth placed Crouch Potatoes were humbled by Purge FC who comfortably ran out 4-1 winners.  Elsewhere mid-table Gangs of Dwight Yorke won a tightly contested game against Murder on Zidane's Floor 2-1, and Centurions recovered from last weeks defeat to beat Woo Town Wanderers 3-1.

Division One leaders Bell FC will be playing in the Premier Division next season barring a miracle, they were 8-3 winners against Battenhall Wanderers as they look to be cruising towards the title.  NCO FC and Scranny Bao are battling it out for the second promotion spot though, they both meet next week as they are neck and neck on points in what could be a winner takes all clash!  Scranny were 5-0 winners this week and NCO stay second by GD alone after their 3-1 win against Warndon Heath.

RB Old Boys look to have secured fourth position after they beat Green Army 3-1, and Pique Blinders beat new boys Scimitar Sports 3-1 to complete the action.
