Tuesday 9th April - Worcester End Of Season Round-Up

It was an excellent end to the season in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for the final games of the season, the only exceptions being Phez FC and Ringers Not Fingers who had to cancel but return to action on Tuesday 16th April for the kick off of the new season.

In the Premier League division, SNORTING LISBON took the crown, finishing the season with an impressive 20 points and 8 wins. Despite a tightly contested 4 - 4 match against BDS FC, SNORTING LISBON's consistent performance throughout the season proved decisive in securing the top spot.

The Division 1 saw Al-Mahartley emerge as clear winners, accumulating 24 points with 11 wins. Their final match resulted in a triumphant 8 - 3 victory over Net Six And Chill. This victory solidified their lead and underscored Al-Mahartley's dominant performance throughout the season.

In Division 2, Phez FC reigned supreme, closing the season with 24 points and 12 wins. Their relentless pursuit of victory was evident in the high-pressure encounters, and their consistent performance this season demonstrated their supremacy in the division.

At the end of this campaign we say goodbye to Allstar Rejects who after 8 league titles since joining us in August 2021, are withdrawing for the upcoming campaign.  We thank them for their time in the league and for being a very reliable team during this period, and hope to see them return at some point in the future.
