Overall it was a good evening of 7 a side football in Worcester on Tuesday once again with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled across all three divisions.
FC Timisoara remain top of the Premier Division as they look increasingly likely to secure yet another title, a 1-0 win over BBC FC their latest result. Maradona Kebab moved above Woodgreen and into second as the two met this week, a 3-0 win for Maradona the full time score. Gangs of Dwight Yorke now sit in fourth position after beating Crouching Woman 3-0, a result which sees Crouching edge towards the relegation zone. Wallop remain bottom of the table and are now 3 points from safety after a 4-0 defeat at the hands of mid-table Hakuna Juan Mata.
In Division One, Droitwich Old Boys moved to the top of the table in a very closely contested division as they beat previously top of the table Purge FC 2-1, a result which sees them slip from top to fourth. Rybrook Seagulls move into second place following their 3-1 win over FC Poor Toe, whilst Nutty Maraduers won 2-0 in their match against Rybrook Seagulls. New team Droitwich Galacticos played picked up an impressive 2-2 draw with Bell FC as they look to be settling into life in the league well. Bottom placed Rybrook Seagulls look certain to be playing in Division Two next season after they were beaten 2-0 by Nutty Marauders, which sees them seven points from safety.
It looks as though its all to play for in Division Two, although Murder on Zidane's Floor are very handily placed at the top, they have four points breathing space over the next placed team after a 1-0 win over Boi FC. However, it is a three way tie between second and fourth who are all locked on 11 points. 1860 Worcester stay in second by the skin of their teeth despite a 4-1 reverse at the hands of Enville United who are off the bottom. Startin S7 move to within a goal of second place though after they won 2-0 against Metre High, whilst Sparks FC and Centurions played out a 2-2 draw.
Good luck to all teams going into the next round of fixtures with Worcester's premier provider of small sided football.
