Wednesday 12th April - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

Welcome to the match round-up for the Leisure Leagues Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league held at the Sixways Stadium, home of the Worcester Raiders. All but three teams attended the fourth round of games, which will return to action on Wednesday 19th April, where we welcome back Dales Sixes, West Ham Sandwich, and Exeter Gently.

In the Premier Division, there were some exciting results. The first match saw Fatletico Madrid take on Wednesday Social, with Fatletico Madrid emerging as the clear winners, scoring nine goals to Wednesday Social's three. New Inn FC played Small Pond FC in the second game of the division, with New Inn FC coming out on top with a 2-1 victory. In the final game, mid-table Coral FC defeated Expecting Toulouse 5-2.

Moving on to Division One, league leaders Nunnery Wood Veterans continued their impressive form, securing their fourth win in a row by defeating Paris Ganjaman 6-1. Claines FC also had a dominant performance, winning 9-0 against Gotta Die For 3 Pints. In the final game of Division One, Enter Team Name secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Lads on Toure.

Division Two saw Sporting Bad Haircuts retain their top position in the table with an impressive 6-0 win over Manchesthair Unknotted. Cottage Mixed Grill was equally dominant, securing a 10-0 victory over Bifta Lifta United, thus retaining their second-place position in the division.

In Division Three, Warndon FC secured a 4-0 win over Banditos FC, Arrow XL had a strong 7-0 victory against Barbz Brummie FC, and Rybrook FC defeated Moist Cabbage 7-2.

Finally, it's worth noting that there have been some changes to the divisions. Murder on Zidane's Floor has dropped to Division Three, while Lucozade Sports has moved up to Division One, making it more suitable for both teams' standards.
