Wednesday 12th June - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance as scheduled for their matches, the only exception being Studs on Studs who've now been removed from the league with immediate effect.  We welcome new team AFC Young Boys to the league as their replacement, wishing them good luck in their debut game on Wednesday 19th June.

On the pitch, in the Premier League, Worcester Saints and Gangsters Allardyce engaged in a thrilling contest that ended 4-3 in favor of the Saints. Meanwhile, Coral FC managed to edge out Wednesday Social with a close 2-1 victory. Nunnery Wood Veterans and Lucozade Sports ended in a 1-1 stalemate, while Mia KhaFifa secured a comfortable 2-0 win against UP The ALMA.

Division 1 saw Dream Team cruising past Bert United with an impressive 4-0 scoreline. Notinyamoms Forest suffered a 4-0 defeat against Leavemyarsealona. Enter Team Name FC clinched a narrow 2-1 win over Paris Ganja Man. The standout match was undoubtedly Injured FC's 9-0 demolition of Claines FC.

Over in Division 2, Murder On ZIdanes Floor triumphed over Skylas Best Friends List 8-4 in a high scoring encounter. Monner United fell to Expecting Toulouse 2-3, whereas Sporting Bad Haircuts and Tupsley FCC ended in a 1-1 draw. Boca Seniors managed a 4-2 victory over Tolly Bashers.

Division 3 witnessed Chewbacca The Net securing a 3-2 win against The Cherry Charvas, while Unathlectico Madrid outshone Severn Wasters with a 6-2 victory. Perdiswell Lynx lost 1-4 to Bley You Off The Park, rounding off a captivating week.
