Wednesday 12th March - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a good end to the season overall in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week.  We had a handful of teams unavailable but look forward to seeing everyone in attendance for the start of the new campaign next week.

In the Premier League, Lucozade Sports demonstrated their dominance with a commanding 10-1 win over MOIST CABBAGE, securing their position at the top of the table with a total of 21 points. They notched up nine victories throughout the season. The highlight of the night was their unstoppable offense, which repeatedly broke through MOIST CABBAGE's defense.

In Division 1, AFC Young Boys came out on top, concluding their season with a hard-earned 7-4 victory against Zoumas Cats. With a total of 21 points and 10 wins, this season was surely a testament to their exceptional talent and teamwork.

Sporting Abeergut reigned supreme in Division 2, edging out Claines FC with a 3-1 victory. Their season total of 22 points, complemented by 11 wins, is a clear indicator of their consistency and performance throughout the season.

In the final Division 3 match, Tupsley FCC made a strong statement with a 10-0 rout against Exeter Gently, securing the division title with a total of 24 points and 12 wins. Their relentless attack kept the spectators on their toes throughout the match.

We will be in touch with all teams regarding the new season accordingly, and fixtures will go live online for the first games of the new campaign which gets underway on Wednesday 19th March.
