Wednesday 15th January - Worcester Round-Up

A fantastic evening's football was enjoyed by all in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their matches, the only exception being a cancellation from Snorting Lisbon who return as normal next week.

In the high-octane Premier League division, Coral FC emerged victorious against Gangsters Allardyce with a decisive 2-0 win. Lucozade Sports and Expecting Toulouse played a hard-fought match, ending in a 3-3 draw. Dream Team claimed a victory against Paris Ganja Man with a scoreline of 2-0, while Udogie Style narrowly defeated Wednesday Social 2-1.

The action in Division 1 saw Nutty Marauders narrowly lose to AFC Young Boys 1-0. Unathlectico Madrid were defeated 4-2 by Leavemyarsealona in an exciting match, while UP THE ALMA were overcome by Zoumas Cats 2-1.

Division 2 witnessed heavy scoring, with Bert United trouncing JK FC 4-1 and Enter Team Name FC dominating 2 Subs 1 Cup with a commanding 6-0 victory. Ricks Rejects came out on top against Claines FC with a 3-2 win, and Sporting Abeergut triumphed over AFC White Hart 4-2.

In Division 3, Chewbacca The Net edged out Backstreet Moyes, winning 2-1, whilst Platform South defeated Cathedral Cheese AFC 5-1. Bench Warmers FC displayed an impressive performance, overcoming Perdilads United 6-1, while The Ninja Skrtels were overpowered by Tupsley FCC in a high-scoring match, ending 8-2.

As the season continues, teams across all divisions will be looking to build on their success or turn their fortunes around in the coming weeks. We congratulate all the victors and commend the valiant efforts of all the participating teams.
