Wednesday 16th March - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across the divisions, the only exception being Warriors Staff who return to action on Wednesday 23rd March.

Priestlane Wanderers got back to winning ways after last weeks defeat, and extended their lead at the top of the table to three points as they were 5-1 winners over strugglers Brap FC, whilst second placed El Nino suffered a 3-2 reverse to seventh placed Pershite!  Sporting A Beergut missed the chance to go second after they were beaten 4-2 by The Rifes who have back to back wins.  Elsewhere The Charvas moved out of the drop zone with a 4-2 win over FC Marshelona.

Wednesday Social's lead at the top of Division One was reduced to 2 points this week as they were beaten 4-2 by Expecting Toulouse who sit in third.  Second placed Cheese Gromit took their opportunity to reduce the arrears as they were 4-3 winners over Bishy FC, whilst bottom of the table We Never Win also won by the same scoreline over Lads on Toure.  Get Your Klopp Out moved to within two points of safety as they romped to a 6-1 win over Make 6 a side Great Again.

Coral FC got a 5-0 win due to Warriors Staff not attending, so they stay top of Division Two, as second placed Paris Ganjaman were 4-1 winners over 2 Girls 1 Schlupp.  Cheeky Naldos stay in mid-table after they beat bottom side 3 Pints by a 2-0 scoreline, and Largentina moved clearer of the bottom sides as they thrashed Sixual Deviants 5-1.
