Wednesday 18th September - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all four divisions.

In the Premier League, Nunnery Wood Veterans managed to secure a thrilling 3-2 victory over Coral FC, while Lucozade Sports showed a dominant performance, outscoring Expecting Toulouse by 5 goals to 1. Gangsters Allardyce also showcased their offensive might, defeating Zoumas Cats 4-0. However, the game between Leavemyarsealona and Wednesday Social ended in a rather defensive battle, with the latter team winning 2-0.

In Division 1, Dream Team lived up to their name, slaughtering Murder On Zidanes Floor 8-0, while Mia KhaFifa narrowly defeated Notinyamoms Forest 5-4. Paris Ganja Man managed a 1-0 win against Claines FC, and UP THE ALMA sealed a 2-1 win against Enter Team Name FC.

In Division 2, Bert United edged out Ricks Rejects in a close 3-2 encounter. Sporting Bad Haircuts showed no mercy against Cathedral Cheese AFC, winning 9-1. Tolly Bashers outplayed Backstreet Moyes, winning 7-0, and AFC Young Boys drew 2-2 with Unathlectico Madrid.

Division 3 saw the most lopsided game of the day, with Sporting Abeergut thrashing Severn Wasters 12-1. Kalvin Fillets fell to Bley You Off The Park 10-0, while Snorting Lisbon beat Chewbacca The Net 5-1. Tupsley FCC secured a 3-1 win over Bench Warmers FC.
