Wednesday 19th January - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week as all teams attended the first game of the new season.

FC Marshelona got off to a fine start against new team The Charvas as they ran out 6-0 winners, whilst champions Priestlane Wanderers got off to a winning start this week, as they were 3-2 victors over Brap FC in an entertaining encounter.  The Rifes and Sporting a Beergut played out a competitive game, which saw Rifes get off to a winning start by a single goal.  Game of the night in the division ended honours even as Ballas Atletico and El Nino shared the spoils in a six goal thriller.

In Division One, Lads on Toure ran out 4-1 winners over Bishy FC in an impressive performance, whilst Wednesday Social were 2-0 winners against Make 6 A Side Great Again, and newly promoted Cheese Gromit also won by the same score line in their match against Get Your Klopp Out.

Paris Ganja Man, on only their second game in the league put in a fantastic performance over league debutants Gotta Die For 3 Pints, who they thrashed 10-0 to set their stalls out for the campaign ahead.  Other recently new side Coral FC, on their third week in the league also put in an impressive performance as they were 6-0 winners over 2 Girls 1 Schlupp.  Warriors Staff put in a disciplined performance against Sixual Deviants whom they beat 2-0, whilst Cheeky Naldos squeezed past Largentina in a competitive game, 2-1 to Naldos the final score.
