Wednesday 1st December - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league at Sixways Stadium.  We did have a few late cancellations, but Ballas Atletico, Make 6-a-side Great Again, Cheeky Naldos and Mad For It have all confirmed they will return on Wednesday 8th December as normal.

As the same fixtures from last week came up this week on the fixture list, the Premier Division just got tighter at the top with 4 games to play, as El Nino suffered a 2-0 reverse at the hands of Brap FC who they thrashed last week, with Priestlane winning also it sees the top three separated by just 2 points as the season looks set for an exciting conclusion.  Elsewhere Droitwich Sparta and Wednesday Social played out a 10 goal thriller which ended 6-4 to Droitwich, quite the opposite to the goalless draw last week.

Cheese Gromit stay top of the Division One table as they thrashed CF Bundalengerz by an 8-2 scoreline to remain 2 points clear of second placed Bishy FC.  Warriors Staff drop to third after suffering a second consecutive defeat to 2 Girls 1 Schlupp, 4-1 the final score this week.
