Wednesday 22nd May - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across the four divisions, the only exception being a late cancellation from Bley You Off The Park who we look forward to seeing return on Wednesday 29th May

On the pitch, in the Premier League, Wednesday Social narrowly edged UP THE ALMA 2-1 in a closely contested match. Lucozade Sports dominated Worcester Saints, winning 4-0, while the match between Mia KhaFifa and Gangsters Allardyce saw the highest number of goals scored, ending with Gangsters Allardyce victorious in a 6-4 thriller. Not to be outdone, Nunnery Wood Veterans secured a strong 6-2 win against Coral FC.

Division 1 saw Notinyamoms Forest narrowly beat Enter Team Name FC 4-3. The match between Dream Team and Paris Ganja Man ended in a 4-2 victory for Paris Ganja Man. A notable result was Injured FC's convincing 5-2 victory over Leavemyarsealona, while Claines FC won 5-2 over Ice Ice Babies.

In Division 2, Expecting Toulouse routed Tolly Bashers 4-0, while Boca Seniors secured a 3-0 win over Tupsley FCC. The match between Skylas Best Friends List and Sporting Bad Haircuts ended in a high scoring 6-4 win for Sporting Bad Haircuts, while Murder On ZIdanes Floor triumphed 4-2 over Monner United.

In the Division 3 matches, Bench Warmers FC secured a hard-fought 3-2 win against Severn Wasters. Perdiswell Lynx dominated STUDS ON STUDS, winning 5-1, while the match between Unathlectico Madrid and Chewbacca The Net resulted in a 2-2 draw.
