It was a good evening's football to start the season in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league at Sixways this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, barring a cancellation from Lapwing FC who've now been removed from the league.

There were some entertaining matches played to kick off the new season, as Premier Division Champions Chicken Ball FC kicked off their title defence with a fine 5-1 win over Wednesday Social.  In Division One recently relegated Expecting Toulouse look to bounce back at the first time of asking and they started the campaign off in style with a 10-3 thrashing of Warndon Warriors, whilst another team to hit double figures was Brap FC in Division Two after they put 10 without reply past Sporting Bad Haircuts!
