It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week at Sixways, which saw all 32 teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some excellent matches played across all four divisions.
El Nino went to the top of the Premier Division this week as they romped to a 9-1 win over Kebab Shop Boys, taking full advantage of the slip up from previous leaders Sporting a Beergut who were held to a 3-3 draw by Priestlane Wanderers in an entertaining game. A 6-0 win for Pershite against Wednesday Social and a 2-0 win for FC Marshelona over new boys Ayew Gueye means that the top five teams are separated by just two points at this stage of the season,
The Charvas lead the way in Division One on goal difference, although they had to settle for a point this week in a 4-4 draw with Paris Ganjaman in an entertaining fixture. Second placed Expecting Toulouse were held to a 2-2 draw by Bishy FC, those results allow Coral FC in third to close the gap to just a point as they were convincing 3-0 winners over Get Your Klopp Out. Rounding off the action in the division was a first win for Lads on Toure this season, they were 4-2 victors over Probably Hungover FC who remain at the foot of the table without a point so far.

Make 6 a side Great Again also remain in the promotion mix at this early stage, a 4-1 win over Pique Blinders sees them remain in fourth place and just two points from the top.
In Division Three, leaders Chicken Ball FC made it 4 wins from as many games as their relentless goalscoring form continues, they were 7-0 victors over I Predict a Diet to remain on maximum points. Vlads Lads leapfrogged their opponents MEC Cartel into second place this week after convincingly beating them by 6 goals to 2, a result which drops MEC to fourth as Murder on Zidane's Floor were 7-1 winners against Sixual Deviants to move into third spot. Completing the action was Gotta Die for 3 Pints who picked up their first victory of the season and did so in style this week as they thrashed Unathletico by an incredible 10-1 scoreline!
