Wednesday 26th June - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week.  We did however have cancellations from Lucozade Sports and Unathletico Madrid, and non-attendances without notification from Worcester Saints and Boca Seniors.  All teams will be spoken to and confirmed to return on Wednesday 3rd July.

Coral FC asserted their dominance over UP THE ALMA, with an impressive 4-0 victory, showcasing both their attacking prowess and defensive solidity. Meanwhile, in another exciting match-up, Mia KhaFifa netted an outstanding five goals against Nunnery Wood Veterans, who managed to secure two goals in reply.

In the Division 1 bracket, Dream Team took a comfortable 2-0 victory over Enter Team Name FC, showing promising signs for the weeks to come. The match between Bert United and Notinyamoms Forest ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw, while Paris Ganja Man narrowly lost to Injured FC in a closely fought 2-1 clash.

The second division was no less exciting, with Monner United clinching a 2-1 victory over Tolly Bashers, and Tupsley FCC edging past Moist Cabbage in a seven-goal thriller, ending 4-3. Meanwhile, Expecting Toulouse claimed a comprehensive 4-0 victory against Sporting Bad Haircuts.

Division 3 saw a commanding performance from AFC Young Boys, who brushed aside Severn Wasters with a 5-1 win. Bley You Off The Park maintained their winning streak with a solid 3-0 win over Chewbacca The Net. The Cherry Charvas were overpowered by the Bench Warmers FC, who secured a 3-1 win.
