Wednesday 28th August - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all four divisions, the only exception being Moist Cabbage who have now been removed from the league.

We welcome new team Kalvin Fillets to the league as a replacement for the above and wish these good luck going into their debut game.

In the Premier League division, Coral FC dominated the game against Leavemyarsealona, ending with a 4-1 victory. A thrilling match between Zoumas Cats and Nunnery Wood Veterans, ended in a narrow win for the Veterans with a 4-3 score. Gangsters Allardyce clinched a 2-0 victory over Lucozade Sports, and an equally competitive game saw Expecting Toulouse edge past Wednesday Social with a 4-3 win.

Division 1 witnessed a captivating performance by Dream Team, who won 4-1 against Claines FC. A nail-biting tie was observed between Enter Team Name FC and Mia KhaFifa, resulting in a 1-1 draw. UP THE ALMA and Murder On Zidane's Floor ended with a 3-3 draw while the match between Paris Ganja Man and Notinyamoms Forest was a goalless standoff.

In Division 2, Bert United triumphed over Backstreet Moyes with a clean 3-0 win. The match of the week however, was the stunning display by AFC Young Boys who decimated Cathedral Cheese AFC with a staggering 12-0 score. Unathlectico Madrid and Rick's Rejects shared points with a 2-2 tie, while Tolly Bashers triumphed over Sporting Bad Haircuts with a 4-1 win.

Finally, in Division 3, Sporting Abeergut pulled off an impressive victory over Bley You Off The Park with a score of 5-1. Bench Warmers FC managed to overcome Chewbacca The Net, with a close 2-1 win. The highlight of the Division, however, was the shocking 11-2 victory by Snorting Lisbon against Severn Wasters.
