Wednesday 3rd July - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week overall.  We were however disappointed to see non-attendances from two teams, Worcester Saints and Boca Seniors for the second week running, they have now been removed from the league with immediate effect.

We welcome new teams Zoumas Cats and Raoul Madrid to the league as replacements for the above, and wish these good luck going into their first fixtures with us on Wednesday 10th July.

In the Premier League, Lucozade Sports scored a solid victory with a 2-0 win against Wednesday Social. The spotlight was on Gangsters Allardyce, who outperformed UP THE ALMA with a thrilling 5-1 win. Coral FC also clinched a victory with 4-2 against Mia KhaFifa.

Division 1's matches were equally competitive. Injured FC came out on top against Dream Team, ending the game with a 5-2 scoreline. Notinyamoms Forest bagged a victory against Claines FC with a 3-1 score. Leavemyarsealona and Enter Team Name FC had an exciting face-off and ended in a 2-2 draw, while Bert United and Paris Ganja Man also ended their game with a 4-4 draw.

In Division 2, Sporting Bad Haircuts had an impressive win over Murder On Zidane's Floor with a 3-1 score. Tolly Bashers had a close match against Tupsley FCC, ending with a 4-3 win. The standout team in this division was Expecting Toulouse, who scored a whopping 13 goals against Moist Cabbage, with no return.

Division 3 also saw some intense matches. Perdiswell Lynx and Chewbacca The Net had a 3-3 draw, while Severn Wasters clinched a 3-1 win against The Cherry Charvas. AFC Young Boys emerged victorious with a 2-1 win against Bley You Off The Park, and Unathletico Madrid had a narrow win of 2-1 against Bench Warmers FC.
