BURY ST EDMUNDS - MONDAY 6 A SIDE

We now have just 1 week to go in our Monday night season of 6 a side in Bury St Edmunds and as the weekly results show it's looking very likely that Ribena will claim the top prize again. All our teams were there despite it being a cold night and there were important wins for Maradonna Kebab in Div Two who are still in with a shout of the title there but need Mean Machine to slip up again next week while AC's point against Pogba in Div One is enough to make sure they will end the season with silverware while Pogba are still a chance of promotion themselves but need the champions to do them a favour next week against Struijk My Koch. Thanks to everyone for being involved this week and to our officials Brian, Kev, Paul and Rian for putting in another big shift in the cold. We had a red card this week for violent conduct. The player now misses 2 games and has a fine to pay before he can return. Please remember Leisure League take a firm stance on poor behaviour from players and you risk being excluded permanently if you or your team can't play the game in the right spirit. 

Hopefully we can move on and not have any future issues but the refs will be hot on any indiscipline so please do your bit to make sure the games are played properly.
