A NEW SEASON
This week we kicked off a new season and it started with an action packed night down at the Skyline Sports Centre.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, Batty Ballers FC emerged victorious against St Edmundsbury Homes with a narrow 2-1 win, in a match that saw Tom Brooks of Batty Ballers FC named as the most valued player of the week. Brooks' stellar performance not only led his team to victory but also set the tone for the season congratulations to Tom.
The division's top scorer is Josh Hammond, who netted a goal for St Edmundsbury Homes. The other matchups saw Klose But No Cigar decimate Snortin Lisbon with a 5-1 win while Molewall outscored NotinyourmumsForest in a close 5-3 game.
DIVISION 1
In the Division 1 showdown, Borussia Bad Boys scored an impressive 11-3 win against The Salahban. Despite the defeat, The Salahban showed promise, and teams can expect them to bounce back in the coming weeks. Hello You Kante secured a 7-4 victory against Inter Mivan, with George Burcher of Hello You Kante becoming the division's top scorer with a tally of 5 goals. Meanwhile, Net-six And Chill FC clinched a 10-4 victory over Puyol Pants Down.
DIVISION 2
Division 2 saw equally thrilling games. Queens Park Raisins and Bizzy Ballers locked horns in a match that ended with a 4-3 victory for Bizzy Ballers. Net-Felix And Chill showed no mercy to Bulldogs OGs, securing a 7-0 win. Highlighting the day was a thrilling face-off between Leavemearsealona FC and For the Badge that ended in a narrow 7-5 victory for For The Badge. The star player in this division this week, Tyler Lombardo of Leavemearsealona FC, shook the net with 3 goals, earning the top scorer in GW1.
