Bury St Edmunds Monday 6 a side end of season!

In an extraordinary display of football, the curtains were drawn on the Bury St Edmunds Monday football league's 14th week. The final rounds of matches in the Premier League and Division 1 comprised thrilling gameplay, showcasing raw talent, strategy, and teamwork.

PREMER LEAGUE  

In the Premier League, a dynamic showdown saw Net-six And Chill FC and Klose But No Cigar face each other, resulting in a staggering score of 14-1 to Cigar as they finished as runners up. Molewall demonstrated their prowess with a 14-0 victory over bottom side Sainsburys Slappers to finish third. Meanwhile, the match between Hello You Kante and Snortin Lisbon was a close call, ending at 4-2 to our champions Snortin Lisbon. The most nail-biting match was between Puyol Pants Down and Batty Ballers FC, with Batty Ballers FC clinching a narrow win of 1-0.

The winners of the Premier League were the formidable Snortin Lisbon, dominating the division with a total of 26 points with 13 wins under their belt. Their captain Ethan Mayhew picked up the Golden Boot award for the Premier League this season.

DIVISION ONE

Over in Division 1, high-scoring games were the order of the day. Bizzy Ballers were edged out 5-3 by Bulldogs OGs while NotinyourmumsForest defeated Leavemearsealona FC 14-2 to seal promotion. Net-Felix And Chill overcame champions St Edmundsbury Homes 6-4 while For The Badge narrowly defeated Queens Park Raisins 5-4. The top Division 1 scorer this week was James Yates from Queens Park Raisins who scored a hat-trick.

Congratulations to St Edmundsbury Homes who emerged as victors of Division 1, amassing 21 points with an impressive 10 wins to seal promotion and the Div 1 title. They also boasted the divisions Golden Boot winner and Player Of The Season Josh Hammond.

With the conclusion of a thrilling season, we are already looking forward to the next one.
