In the latest round of the Bury St Edmunds 6 A Side Football League, we saw some great performances. Week 2 was nothing short of thrilling as teams across three divisions battled it out with determination and tenacity.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, Molewall secured a convincing victory over Batty Ballers FC with a score of 6-3, while NotinyourmumsForest eked out a narrow win over Klose But No Cigar, 2-1. However, the highlight of the week was Snortin Lisbon's 11-3 victory over St Edmundsbury Homes, helped by Fin Coleman's impressive 5-goal tally which earned him the top scorer of the week in the Premier League.
DIVISION 1
Over in Division 1, Net-six And Chill FC ousted Borussia Bad Boys 6-3 and Puyol Pants Down unfortunately suffered a crushing defeat to Hello You Kante, losing 16-0. Aidan Stibbs of Hello You Kante became the talk of the division, scoring an astonishing 9 goals, making him the top scorer in Division 1.
DIVISION 2
In Division 2, For The Badge reigned supreme over Bizzy Ballers, winning 6-1, with Bulldogs OGs claiming a 3-1 victory over Leavemearsealona FC. However, the match between Queens Park Raisins and Net-Felix And Chill stole the spotlight with a high-scoring game that ended 8-6 in favor of Net-Felix And Chill. Division 2's top scorer for the week was James Yates of Queens Park Raisins who netted a notable 3 goals.
Importantly, the most valued player of the week award was bestowed upon Aiden Candler from Bulldogs OGs. His exceptional performance played an instrumental role in his team's success, demonstrating talent and sportsmanship that stood out across all divisions.
