In an exciting finish to the Bury St Edmunds Monday Football league, three teams emerged victorious, concluding the 10th week of the action-packed season. This week's matches were marked by thrilling moments, stunning goals and spectacular performances in the Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2.
Premier League,
Klose But No Cigar claimed the title with a total of 14 points and seven wins. They proved their dominance in their final match, trouncing Molewall with a stunning 8-2 victory. Borussia Bad Boys and NotinyourmumsForest battled to a 2-2 draw, while Romasexuals fell to Snortin Lisbon, who scored a massive 13 goals in their 2-13 victory.
Division 1
6 Buhs 1 Ball topped the table with an impressive 19 points and nine wins. The highlight of the week was the fierce game between Batty Ballers FC and Net-six And Chill FC, which ended in an overwhelming 9-0 victory for the latter. The Salahban also had a great performance, defeating Net-Felix And Chill 6-3. Felix Llanwarne of Net-Felix and Chill shone bright in the division, scoring two goals to become the top scorer.
Division 2
Leavemearsealona FC clinched the title with 19 points and nine victories. Their prowess was evident in their final game against Queens Park Raisins which they won 8-2. Other noteworthy matches included a 1-1 draw between Bulldogs OGs and For The Badge, and a 2-0 victory for Inter Mivan over Exeter Gently. The top scorer in Division 2 was Alfie King of For The Badge, who netted one goal.
