Bury St Edmunds Monday 6 a side news - match day 2

The floodlights at the Bury St Edmunds Monday Football League illuminated a fantastic night of 6-a-side football in Week 2 of the season, with teams from both Premier League and Division 1 putting on a sensational display of sportsmanship and competition.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League division, Chicken Tikka Mo Salah emerged as an unstoppable force, netting a 9-3 victory over Hello You Kante. Net-six And Chill FC demonstrated a similar prowess, outsmarting Eze Come Eze Go with an 8-2 victory. But the highlight of the night was Snortin Lisbon’s impressive 11-1 win against Sainsburys Slappers. Despite the valiant efforts of Grangers Nose, they fell 10-5 to Molewall in a match that kept us on the edge of our seats.

DIVISION ONE

On the Division 1 front, Queens Park Raisins faced a tough match against NotinyourmumsForest, ending in a 6-2 defeat. However, the match between For The Badge and Bizzy Ballers proved to be the most evenly contested in this division, with both teams sharing the spoils in a 5-5 draw.

As we move into Week 3 of the competition, all eyes will be on the top teams to see if they can maintain their momentum. This season of the Bury St Edmunds Monday Football League has showcased the spirit and passion for football in the community, promising an exhilarating journey for us all.
