Week two of the Bury St Edmunds Monday Football League took place last night and was nothing short of exciting. The event was marked by incredible plays, shocking results, and commendable performances from the players of the Premier League and Division 1.
Starting off in the Premier League division, a tense match saw Bury United Sixes and Hello You Kante locked in a 2-2 draw. Meanwhile, Haverhill Massive dominated the field with an impressive 10-0 victory over Klopps And Robbers. In another captivating game, Chicken Tikka Mo Salah narrowly defeated Molewall 3-2. And Snortin Lisbon managed to secure a decisive 3-1 win over NotinyourmumsForest.
The highlight of the Premier League was Tyler Jenkins of Snortin Lisbon who dazzled the crowd as he became the division's top scorer, netting 2 goals this week.
Over in Division 1, For The Badge triumphed over Sainsburys Slappers with a 5-1 win, while RIBENA ML crushed Suffolk Stinkers with an astounding 10-0 victory.
Division 1's star player was Harvey Norman from RIBENA ML who took the top scorer title for this division, with a remarkable tally of 4 goals.
The league also saw outstanding individual performances. Aidan Stibbs, playing for Hello You Kante, stood out and was duly recognised as the most valued player of the week.
