Bury St Edmunds Monday Night Football

We are just one game away from the end of our brilliant Monday night season in Bury St Edmunds and despite the blustery weather we had a great night of 6 a side action for week 9 out of 10 of the campaign.

Prem leaders and confirmed champions Ribena carried on their winning way with an important 3 - 1 win against 2nd placed Titus Shambles to cement their place at the top of the table. Snorting Lisbon closed the gap in 3rd with a strong 13 - 3 win over Unathletico Madrid while AC had reason to smile in what has been a challenging season as they picked up a 5 - 0 win over Jewventus.

The Div One title is also in the bag with SYM FC ahead by 3 points despite going down 2 - 0 to Double Pogba who moved up into the promotion places and will now fancy their chances of playing prem football next season. Candyshop in 3rd slipped up against Charlesberg who will be glad for the points but it's too little too late for them with their relegation already confirmed despite the win this week. Maradonna Kebab however can still save themselves after a good win against Innocent Till Proven Gylfi. the 2 - 1 win means that they have some hope but face a tough game next week against Pogba so time will tell who takes the drop to Division Two.

The title is very much still alive in Division Two with Harry's Helmuts just a point ahead going into the last round of games. They benefitted from The Boys being away this week to take a 5 - 0 points win but Struijk My Koch also did them a big favour by failing to win against Hello You Kante meaning they must get a result next week against Son of A Pitches and hope that Mean Machine can do them a favour against Harry's Helmuts. Should be a great finale to the season in this division where the games have been close and results have been mixed for all our teams.

Plans for the new season look good with a whole load of new teams ready to go. We will probably be expanding each division to 8 teams and we probably have room for one more team to fit in so if you have been thinking about getting involved this is the final call for the new season which kicks off on 14th November!

Register now and be part of the action.
