End of Season at Bury St Edmunds Monday 6 a side!

Thank you to all our teams at our Bury St Edmunds Monday 6 a side league on a great first season down at the Skyliner Sports Centre. The new season will start next week, thank you to all the out going teams and welcome to the new ones coming in, some of which turned out last night.

Congratulations to our Premier League Champions Dream Team who finished the season a massive 8 points clear after round it off with a 10-0 win over new team Still Got It? Well done to runners up VWL who also had a comfortable 5-0 win to end the season. In the other Prem matches Cunch O' Bunts defeated Unathletico Madrid 1-0 while AC beat new boys Ron and Friends 2-1.

In Div 1 Congratulations go to Sunil Chhetri who finished 3 points clear of Real Ale Madrid to lift the title. Both sides gaining promotion. Sunil won their last game 6-1 against 2 Girls 1 Schlupp while Real Ale Madrid defeated Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels 1-0 to seal promotion. In other results Stella & Stoney's won 12-2 against Tuddenham Rangers while two of our new teams shared a 3-3 draw as Haaland and Barrett and Hello You Kante met.

The MVP for the league goes to Issac Moss of Cunch O' Bunts while the Golden Boot awards will be confirmed shortly, this is due to a slightly glitch in the table that is being fixed.

The new fixtures will be out later today and the new season will kick off on Monday 5th July. Thanks again to all our teams and our match officials Brian, Paul and Kev. See you all next week!
