Our Monday Night 6 a side league became one of many to take onboard the new Leisure Leagues rules last night, allowing players into the penalty area as well as offering keepers the option to come out of the box. Back passes can no longer be picked up and all free kicks, goal kick, side line kicks and centres are all direct and can be scored from. It's led to faster paced games across the whole country so thank you to the players for adapting to the new ways.
The prem title might be in the bag for Candyshop but their 100% record has gone following a defeat last night to AC ALittleSilouetteoOfMilan. It was a tight game, ending 5 - 4 to AC on this occasion, James Parker - Clayton netting a good hattrick. Innocent Till Proven Gylfi leaped into 2nd place with a convincing 11 - 2 win over MoLeicester City, hattricks for Charlie and Harvey doing the damage. Put Matip lifted themselves off the bottom with a surprise win over Charlesberg who had been in 2nd place but the defeat drops them to 4th.
Division One had 3 great games, Mean Machine and Son of a Pitches played out an incredible 6 - 6 draw, James Goodsman with 3 for Pitches. Harry's Helmuts caused an upset with a 3 - 2 win over Netflix & Chillwell while leaders Hello you Kante secured a good 2 - 0 win over For the Badge
Division Two saw another win for Soccer Club who are cruising to the league title. This week they saw off Double Pogba 6 - 1 as Isaac Reyna scored 3. Ninja Skertel claimed the points with a 3 - 0 win over Maradonna Kebab and Struijk My Koch picked up a win against Alan Brazils Wet Dream, 2 - 0 the score in this one.
Great work from all the officials this week as we introduced the new rules to this league. We look forward to the conclusion of this season next week and then start to prepare for the new one the following week.
