Week 9 Results from Bury St Edmunds Monday 6 a side

Great to be back in action at Skyliner Sports Centre last night following the break for the Bank Holiday. 

Good to see that most teams made it back and got their sides together in time. Just a reminder to make sure you communicate with your captain / players as soon as possible to get your teams ready to play. Last minute pull outs aren't fair on the opposition or on us trying to make the leagues run smoothly.

To the games, where we saw Unathletic Madrid put 8 past Charlesberg FC without reply to maintain their good start to the season in 2nd place. Connor Crawford with 4 and Tom Carroll-Davis 3 amongst the goals. Dream team go third having missed this week and conceding a 5 - 0 loss to Cunch O' Bunts who are top. Ron and Friends found ALittleSiouetteoOfMilan to much to handle, going down 4 - 1 and Innocent Till Proven Gylfi got the better of Blue Ballers 3 - 2 to widen the gap above the bottom 3. I don't have many goal scorers so if you want to be in with a chance of winning the golden boot and being entered into the prize draw you need to make sure we have the names of the people who score please. 

In Division One For the Badge won the clash of the top two with a 3 - 2 win over Hello You Kante. Vervegins pulled ahead of Built Different following a 1 - 0 win over them, Dylan Elomri with the only goal. Adam Massey and Ben Meyhew each scored two as 2 girls 1 Schlupp overcame the Dream Team 4 - 0 and CandyShop and Still Got it fill the bottom two slots in the division and registered a 0 - 0 draw as neither team could raise a side. 

Thanks to those that got organised and put their teams out, big thanks to Brian and his team on the pitch, still plenty to play for in these leagues as we head towards week 10
