All teams were in attendance at our Bury St Edmunds 6 a side league on Tuesday as the season nears to finish.
The race for the runners up spot is really hotting up and goes down to the final couple of weeks of the season with just 2 points separating 2nd and 5th. Labas hang on to 2nd spot this week despite a 5-0 loss to Ruud Van Nipplejoy. This allowed the chasing pack to gain some ground and Athletic Bilbarrow impressed during a 10-1 win over Bulldozers to go level on points with Labas. Just a point behind them are Six Offenders who came through a tough match against Guns and Moses to win 3-1. Gangstas Allardyce narrowly defeated Chicken Tikka Mo Salah 1-0 to put themselves just 2 points adrift of the runners up spot however they will have to get a victory over champions Master Beyton next week to keep alive their hopes of a second place finish. In the other league match Master Beyton continue to win, this week saw victory against Exeter Gently by 6 goals to 1.
Thank you to all teams and see you next week
