Thank you to all teams down at the Skyliner Sports Centre on another good night of 6 a side football. Unfortunately Dean FC weren't able to raise a team this week but will return next week. Thank you to Skillet Bang for stay on to give Sporting a Beer Gut a game.
In the Premier League Six Offenders continue to dominate. Following up their impressive win against Ballacks Ref last week they had another important win over Labas this week winning 4-1. Ballacks Ref responded in the right manner bouncing back to win 4-2 against Gangstas Allardyce who look to be heading for another relegation battle this season to remain in the top flight. New team Ivory Toast got off to a good start with a 3-0 victory over Chicken Tikka Mo Salah while Sporting a Beer Gut had a 5-0 points match win due to Dean FC being away.
In Div 1 we have new leaders with Guns and Moses winning the battle of the top 2 managing to secure the points with a 2-0 win over Athletic Bilbarrow. Moving above Bilbarrow now are Skillet Bang who recorded a resounding 9-0 win over Puyol Pants Down to move into the promotion places. In the other two matches we saw very tight affairs with both matches ending in draws. Kroos Control were held to a 3-3 draw by Klopps & Robbers, lots of credit to these boys for keeping going after a tough season in the Prem to gain their first point of the season in Div 1. Also getting their first point of the season were Triple C who drew 2-2 with Sheffield Tuesday.
Thank you to all teams and see you next week, it's good to see all teams across the two divisions with points on the board. Shaping up to be another good season
