Bury St Edmunds 6 a side results from the Skyliner

Here's a run through the results from the Skyliner Sports Centre at our Bury St Edmunds 6 a side league last night.

We start in the Premier League where Six of Spades stay top and are now a point clear after a narrow 2-1 win over Athletic Bilbarrow gave them 3 wins on the bounce at the start of the season. Multiple Scoregasms and Bury United Sixes had a hard fought match which ended 0-0, always a surprising scoreline in 6 a side with defences on top. This leaves Scoregasms in second a point behind the leaders. Victoria 6ixes got their first win of the season to move out of the bottom two as they defeated Cockfield Sixes 1-0 while Murder On Zidanes Floor impressed during a 4-1 win against Suffolk Is Ours.

Moving on to Div 1 and we have two teams with 100% records still. Rafa Cakes sit top on goal difference as they squeezed past Havana Ballsup Utd 3-2. Second place Skillet Bang defeated new boys Thurston FC 4-0. Just a point behind the leaders are Greengos who remain unbeaten as they had a 3-2 victory over My Little Bony. Finally Sheffield Tuesday picked up their first win in another close match as they beat AFC Vikings 4-3.

Both divisions saw lot's of close matches which is always good to see and means we should see a competitive league as we progress through the season. Thank you to all teams and see you next week.
