BURY ST EDMUNDS 6 A SIDE - TUESDAY NIGHT

We had another brilliant night of 6 a side at Skyliner last night as our teams took on week two of the season. Sadly a couple of teams have let us down since signing up for the new campaign, one didn't even play a game and went cold, always disappointing when we have invested time into getting them involved but it happens and we move on. Because of this we have two spaces to fill in this league now, both in the top division so if you were looking to get involved before and just missed out on a place or if you have a team ready to go just get in touch or register your side now and you can join the action next Tuesday.

So to this weeks games and we had 4 teams pick up their 2nd win on the bounce in the premier league. The Royal Family beat IBY 10 - 4 while We Love A Bag won an intense game against No Name 10 - 8. Rafa Cakes and B Team Old Boys both took 5 - 0 points wins from their games.

Division One has just one team with max points now as Leavemyarcelona edge a point infront of the rest after their 3 - 2 win against 2 Girls 1 Schlupp. Athletic Bilbarrow got their 1st win with a 3 - 2 against Mun's Boyz and Joga Bonito had their 1st taste of victory getting the better of Mum's Hot Sociedad 6 - 0. Symonds Army are part of the pack just behind the leaders after they came away from last night with a 5 - 0 win due to Paris Ganja Man being away.

FC Banterlona look like a strong side in Division Two and they notched up their 2nd win last night, defeating Real Madribble 6 - 1 fellow new side Boosh are also right up there but they had to work a bit harder for their points this week  with MH Rovers giving then a brilliant game. It ended 6 - 5 to Boosh but another really tight game for MH Rovers. USAUK have had a resurgance of form this season and have registered their 1st win now as they beat Touch Matip 6 - 1 while our newest team, ECS, who registered on match day and went straight into action against Quaresma Balls will have to wait another week to get their 1st points as they went down with Quaresma winning 5 - 3 in another great game.

Big thanks to Tony and the team for managing the night, congrats to our league winners from last season who were presented with their trophies last night. Fingers crossed we can get the final two places refilled and this can continue to be a great season.
