Bury St Edmunds Tuesday 6 a side end of season

In an exciting climax to the Bury St Edmunds Tuesday 6 a side Football league, three divisions witnessed high-octane matches that brought the season to a close in style.

PREMIER LEAGUE  

In the Premier League division, SOB United emerged as the champions with a whopping total of 24 points and 11 wins. We will remember Cairo Carr's exceptional performance as he stood out as the top scorer for the division. With a total of 2 goals in the final match against ECS, Carr played a significant role in SOB United's 5-2 victory adding to his total of 22 for the season. In the other game last night Munz Boys got the better of Touch Matip 4-2.

DIVISION ONE

The Division 1 league saw Real Madribble claim the championship title, having accumulated 22 points with an impressive 10 wins despite a 4-3 loss last night to runners up Chubby Alonso's. Connor Mantle of Chubby Alonso's was the top scorer in this division with 26 goals. Other results so new boy Molester City draw 4-4 with 3Leslie, Athletic Bilbarrow win 2-0 at Kloppy Seconds and Dunk N Donuts win 5-1 against Lallanas In Pyjamas.

DIVISION TWO

Haven't Got A Kalou topped Div 2, winning the division with a total of 28 points and an outstanding 14 wins, a 100% record, scoring 131 goals in the process, they rounded off their season with a 5-1 away win at Man Cave Utd. Mum's Hot Sociedad moved up into the top two on the final day with a 3-0 win over Earth Wind & Maguire. Heath Team just miss out on promotion after a 2-1 loss to Barely Athletico. Finally Sheffield Tuesday ran riot with a 23-0 win against Suffolk Stinkers. Josh Grainger of Haven't Got A Kalou won the Golden Boot for Div 2 with 56 of Kalou's 131 goals this season.

It was an end fitting for the final week of the season, with each division witnessing the crowning of worthy champions. As we bid adieu to this season, we look forward to the next one, where these teams will rise again, ready to battle for supremacy.

A huge thank you to Brian and his team of match officials this season, thank you for all your efforts to allow us to have a league for our players. Thanks to all the captains for organising their squads, not an easy job at times. Good luck next season!
