Bury St Edmunds Tuesday League Week 3 Round-Up

In the third week of the Bury St Edmunds Tuesday League, we were treated to a spectacular night of football, filled with thrilling matches and fantastic individual performances.

In the Premier League, Athletic Bilbarrow pulled off a stunning 5-1 victory over Riddlers FC, displaying an impressive show of teamwork and strategy. Phil Matip and We Love A Bag FC locked horns in an exciting 4-4 draw that kept us on the edge of our seats. Meanwhile, ECS slipped past Leavemyarcelona in a nail-biting 4-3 win. We Love A Bag FC's Luis Buchan stole the spotlight in the division, netting a whopping four goals to become the Premier League's top scorer for the week.

Division 1 saw an equally thrilling set of matches. MH Rovers ousted Tea And Busquets in a high-scoring 9-5 game, while Quaresma Balls fell 7-4 to the formidable ИO ИAME. The standout player in this division was Finbar Rochford from MH Rovers, who not only scored five goals to become the top scorer but was also named the Most Valued Player of the week.

Over in Division 2, Mums Hot Sociedad edged out Earth Wind And Maguire in a closely fought 3-2 victory. Iain Barnes proved instrumental in the win, scoring two goals to emerge as the top scorer in the division.
