End of Season at Bury St Edmunds Tuesday 6 a side!

Thank you to all our teams as the dust settles on another Bury St Edmunds Tuesday 6 a side season. It's been amazing building up this league over the last couple of years. When I took it over there was only 6 teams playing so it's great to see two divisions and 16 teams competing as well as the recent launch of our Monday night league at the Skyliner Sports Centre and our new Wednesday league starting today in Mildenhall.

Congratulations in the Premier League go to Multiple Scoregasms who retained their trophy. They finished the season 4 points clear of Skillet Bang with a 2-1 win on the final day of the season over Six Of Spades. Jake and Conner scoring one each to share the Golden Boot. Max scored a hat-trick for Obi Wan Kenobi Nil as they saved themselves from the drop on the final day with a 4-3 win over Rafa Cakes. Rafa also survival by the skin of their teeth as Mason Mount Your Mum lost 3-1 to A1 Trees which see's both sides heading to Div 1.

Athletic Bilbarrow head into the Premier League as Div 1 Champions and by some distance winning the league by 7 points. The rounded off their campaign with a comfortable 5-0 win against OP Barbers with strikes from Aiden Reilly 3 and Sam Emerson 2. In the other league match MH Rovers and Greengos shared a 1-1 draw while new team USAUK picked up a points match win. The Div 1 Golden Boot shared between Ed Holden and Sam Emerson. Also well done to Josh Bruce-Rae of MH Rovers who wins the league MVP award.

Once again thank you all for a great season. Also a big thank you to our our supervisors Tony and Paul along with refs Lee and Chris. It's never a easy job and your efforts are much appreciated. The new season starts on Tuesday 17th August. The new fixtures will be out later today. Thanks Rich
