It was great to see all 16 teams back and raring to go as our Bury St Edmunds Tuesday 6 a side league got back underway at the Skyliner Sports Centre last night.
Multiple Scoregasms picked up where they left off with another clean sheet while scoring 8 goals as they cruised to a 8-0 win over Victoria 6ixes to stay 5 points clear at the top of the Premier League. Second place Murder On Zidanes Floor edged it in their match with Athletic Bilbarrow, winning 3-2 while Bury United Sixes also won by the same scoreline against Suffolk Is Ours, captain Jimi Clayton on target in this one for Bury. The other match in the division saw Six of Spades share a 1-1 draw with third place Cockfield Sixes.
Lots of close matches with very few goals to talk about in Div 1 as the leaders Skillet Bang won narrowly 1-0 against Greengos while second place Rafa Cakes were held to a 1-1 draw by My Little Bony. Thurston FC and AFC Vikings also battled hard in a keenly fought contest with Thurston hanging on for a 1-0 victory. Finally at least Sheffield Tuesday had a few goals in them as they defeated Havana Balls Up 4-1.
A big thank you to all the players and of course the refs. Look forward to seeing you all back next week.
