We launched our brand new season of 6 a side at Skyliner last night as the Tuesday league expanded to 3 divisions of 8. Having had confirmation that 23 of the 24 places were taken it was obviously disappointing to hear that a few teams decided not to turn up. Gangsters Allardyce have now been removed and new side Queens will be too if I don't get any communication from them today. This leaves us with a few unexpected gaps to fill here which is unfortunate but does give an opportunity for more new teams to jump in at this early stage of the season. So if you have a team looking to get started, we have spaces in both the Premier League and in Division Two. Get the lads together and get registered to join the action for week 2 next Tuesday.

With a bit of clever work and some help from a few teams our supivisor Tony was able to get nearly all teams a game so well done with that, in the prem Royal Family took a 5 - 0 points win to go top as did Rafa Cakes while the other teams all had brilliantly competitive games to play. We Love A Bag started their season well against new side IBY, registering a 4 - 3 win while current champions B Team Old Boys were pushed all the way by No Name before coming away with a 6 - 4 win.
Leavemyarselona started their life in Div One strongly with a big win over Mum's Hot Sociedad while the other three games all produced mouth watering draws. Symonds Army battled out a 2 - 2 result against 2 Girls 1 Schlupp, New side Joga Bonito and Muns Boyz ended 3 - 3 and in the best game on the night we saw Paris Ganja Man finish 6 - 6 in their match up with Athletic Bilbarrow. Looks like this division could be quite something this season if all the games are going to be this tightly contested.
There were no draws in Division Two with New teams FC Banterlona and BOOSH both picking up game one wins. MH Rovers also took the points in their game with Quaresma Balls while it was a points win for Real Madribble to kick off their campaign.
Great to have the season underway and to welcome so many new sides, hopefully the final gaps can fill quickly so we can limit the amount of points matches for everyone.
Have a good week guys and good luck next week.
