NEW SEASON UNDERWAY

We kicked off our brand new Tuesday night season of 6 a side at Skyliner this week with a brilliant set of games, All 24 teams were there including our newest recruits Thetford Boys who snapped up the final spot in Division Two in time to make their debuts on the opening night. The Prem saw champions The Royal Family get overturned by Azoresteam while there were good wins for Symonds Army, We Love A Bag and All Mates Here.

I get the feeling Division One is going to be really competitive this year with some good sides pushing for promotion. Athletic Bilbarrow, Newy Boys and 2 Girls all won well while Quaresma Balls had to work really hard for their points against Riddlers, eventually taking the win 6 - 5 with last seasons golden boot winner Valter Vocha starting well again with 5 to kick start his tally for the season. 

Division Two also started with a bang and a number of close games. Munz Boys won 3 - 2 against Mums Hot and Touch Matip had the same scoreline in their win over Drive. ECS lead after a 4 - 0 win against Real Madribble and Bury Kebab got the better of Thetford Boys 5 - 2

So an excellent start to the new campaign in Bury St Edmunds and thank you to all the players for being there. Well done to the captains for getting your sides together and as always a big thank you to Brian and his team of refs for doing a great job on the whistles.
