We had a dramatic night of action in Bury St Edmunds last night as our Tuesday night 6 a side league continued into week 11 of the season.
We Love A Bag won well to remain top of the prem with Rafa Cakes staying in touch after being awarded the points in their game with MH Rovers. We did have an unwelcome incident in this game with a player dismissed and issued a life ban for demonstrating serious violent conduct. This is very rare in our leagues and the officials dealt with the situation perfectly. Both teams accept it was an isolated incident but it's worth remembering that we will not tolerate this kind of behaviour in any of our leagues, players that feel the need to be abusive, either physically or verbally will be dismissed and banned from playing in any leisure leagues event. Thankfully the player on the receiving end is Ok and I hope we never have a repeat of this in this league. Tugas picked up a points win and No Name had a fantastic game with Hamilton Acadaveicals to conclude the prem results.
Division One also had a couple of great draws, Gangsters Allardyce Vs 2 Girls finished 1 - 1 and USAUK Vs Tugas B ended 2 - 2. There was a comfortable win for WSW and a good game between My Little Bony and Paris Ganga Man ended with Bony taking the points to remain in the promotion places.
Thanks as always to Tony and the refs on a difficult night, lets get ready for next Tuesday.
