We are now 6 weeks down in our season of 6 a side in Bury St Edmunds and both divisions at Skyliner Sports Centre have clear leaders. We Love A Bag continue where they left off last season with a maximum 12 points from 6 games giving them a full 6 point gap to Rafa Cakes in 2nd place. It's then pretty tight with 3 points separating the rest of the league table. It wasn't easy this week as table proppers MH Rovers pushed The Bags hard before eventually getting beaten 3 - 2 and Royal Family caused an upset smashing 2nd placed Rafa Cakes 8 - 3. We have a new team to take the place of WSW who went awol, B Team Old Boys have been added to the league now and will kick off their campaign next Tuesday, for now it was a 5 - 0 win for Athletic Billbarrow.
Division One is also tight when you look below leaders Tugas FC B who lead by 3 points at the top. Their 5 - 1 win last night against 2nd placed Slide into your CDM's gave them some breathing space while No Name missed the opportunity to join them in the promotion places as they slipped to a 7 - 6 defeat to Gangsters Allardyce. Paris Ganga Man beat Fumble 5 - 0 in the other match played out in an exciting night of 6 a side.
