Welcome back and Happy New Year

Welcome back to all teams at our Bury St Edmunds 6 a side league which saw all teams in attendance apart from Bulldozers who did let us know late on, hopefully their squad will of recovered from the treaded sickness bug and be back in action next week.

It has been on the cards for weeks now but a massive congratulations to Master Beyton FC on securing the title with with 3 weeks of the season still to go after a 4-1 win over Athletic Bilbarrow. Head and shoulders above the rest for the majority of the season and very well deserved.

This means the race is on for the runners up spot currently held by Labas who secured their grip on 2nd spot with a 4-0 win over Chicken Tikka Mo Salah. Despite the loss to Master Beyton, Athletic Bilbarrow remain 3rd just 2 points behind Labas however now just a point behind them in 4th are Six Offenders who won 2-0 against Gangstas Allardyce. In the other league game Ruud Van Nipplejoy came out on top in a entertaining and high scoring match with Exeter Gently to win 6-4. Finally Guns and Moses had a 5-0 points match win due to Bulldozers being away, thank you to Master Beyton for staying on to play it.
